A sanctuary for wildlife, birds and those who dare to venture
Climate change, deforestation and dwindling wildlife populations threaten every part of the planet.
It’s a global problem that requires global action.
Our mission is to preserve as much natural habitat in this area as possible from extinction through ongoing community outreach projects, education, the
re-introduction of lost wildlife species
and sustainable tourism.
The Conservancy
Located on a remote stretch of the Zambezi River below Victoria Falls in Zambia, the conservancy is made up of over three thousand hectares of protected wilderness and pristine natural habitat.
The many rolling hills, valleys, ravines and streams support a diverse range of vegetation ranging from mopane woodland and ancient leadwood forests to lush riverine thicket and open grassland.
Resident wildlife include duiker, grysbok, bushbuck, impala, kudu, klipspringer, hippo, crocodile, warthog, bushpig, monkey, baboon, civet, large spotted genet, serval, aardvark, both black and side-striped jackal, aardwolf, leopard tortoise, porcupine and the occasional passing elephant.
The area is also home to an abundance of birdlife.
We invite you here to share in the beauty of the natural world.
