Mubimba Tented Bush Camp

Retreat to rustic comfort, peace and tranquility on the remote banks of the Zambezi River

The Bush Camp

‘Mubimba’ is the local word for the Leadwood Tree (Combretum imberbe). These majestic trees, capable of living for over one thousand years, are heavily exploited for timber throughout their range.

Shaded primarily by leadwoods, jackalberrys and sausage trees, the bush camp comfortably accommodates eight guests in four spacious en-suite safari tents, each overlooking the Zambezi River.

A main boma with large dining table, wicker lounge chairs and barbecue area provides an ideal space to relax and unwind with loved ones.

The rustic camp kitchen has a four plate cooker and gas oven, chest freezer and fridge and is stocked with cutlery and crockery, cookware, bakeware and glassware.

The splash pool is a welcoming addition during the warmer months and provides hours of entertainment for adults and children alike.

A productive vegetable garden provides for an abundance of fresh vegetables and herbs for you to harvest at will throughout your stay.
