Activities & Adventure

Game drives, nature walks and fishing are just a few ways to keep busy on the conservancy

Things to do

  • Self-drive the conservancy in search of wildlife

  • Walk, hike or mountain bike in the wilderness; explore the diverse habitat, hills, valleys, ravines, rivers and streams at your own leisure

  • Bird watch for interesting species
The conservancy is home to an abundance of raptors, grey headed and Meyer’s parrots, helmeted and crested guineafowl, various species of francolin and sandgrouse, eastern nicators and many seasonal migrants; African skimmers, Narina trogons, African broadbills and woodland kingfishers, to name a few

  • Go fishing; the Zambezi River offers many fishing opportunities for various species such as tiger, bream, chessa, nkupe, cornish jack, barbel, vundu and yellow fish

  • Enjoy picnics, lunches & dinners in the bush or on the river with family and friends

“In every walk with nature one receives
far more than he seeks”
